The second session of the free community planned giving series put on by the Allegan General Hospital Foundation, Allegan County Community Foundation, Allegan County United Way, Perrigo Company Charitable Foundation and Wings of Hope Hospice is scheduled for Friday, September 23 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The second session titled “Transforming Your Community” will focus on the following topics: permanent endowments and how they work; first steps to take for sustainable planned giving; transformative charitable giving within your estate; and learning to run your own numbers. “Transforming Your Community” will be held in the Michigan Room at Allegan General Hospital (555 Linn Street, Allegan). Lunch will be provided.
This free series is available to those professional advisors, their clients, non-profit leaders and community members. The featured guest speaker will be Attorney Danielle Streed from the firm of Redmond, Streed and Yokom. Her practice focuses on the area of Probate and Estate Administration, Medicaid Planning, Charitable Giving and Estate Planning. She can be heard every Tuesday at 7:55 a.m. on WKZO 590 AM for “Your Estate Matters,” a weekly feature about estate planning and charitable giving.
Other speakers for “Transforming Your Community” include Theresa Bray (Allegan County Community Foundation), Brent Larson (AGH Foundation) and Stephen McKown (Orton, Tooman, Hale, McKown & Kiel, PC).
