When she started at Allegan General Hospital in April, Maggie Aguirre of Pullman noticed something unique about the hospital’s environment.
“The people seem to genuinely want to get to know you,” she said. “It feels more like a community here than any other place I’ve worked.”
That friendly work atmosphere is one of the reasons the hospital has been named one of Modern Healthcare Magazine’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2011. The hospital, which employs 325 people, received the award in 2010 as well.
The award program recognizes 100 healthcare workplaces across the country that enable employees to provide patients and customers with the best possible care and services. Read the article in it’s entirety…
